Frank Getman – Chief Executive Officer
Frank is an entrepreneur and energy executive with over 25 years of experience in the energy industry. In 2017 he founded Great Bay Renewables (“GBR”), a leading provider of royalty investments in the dynamic renewable energy market. Frank’s deep experience in the energy industry puts GBR in a unique position to offer innovative and flexible solutions at any stage of a renewable energy project’s life cycle. Under Frank’s leadership, GBR has committed nearly $500 million in royalty capital to leading renewable energy developers and project sponsors. Before starting GBR, Frank was the President and CEO of BayCorp Holdings, Ltd., a diversified merchant energy company, since 1998. Under his leadership, BayCorp developed, owned and operated various energy companies and assets including, renewable power generation facilities, oil and natural gas reserves, and other energy-related investments. Previously, he was an attorney with Boston-based law firm Hale and Dorr LLP. Frank holds a joint JD/MBA degree from Boston College and a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from Tufts University
Peter Leahey – Chief Financial Officer
Peter has over nine years of experience in renewable energy M&A, financing, and corporate strategy. As CFO, Peter directs Great Bay’s corporate finances, leads capital sourcing, and is integral to investment strategy and execution. Prior to his current role at Great Bay Renewables, Peter worked as Vice President within the Investment Banking Division of Goldman Sachs. He served as an officer in the United States Marine Corps prior to working with Goldman Sachs. Peter has an MBA from New York University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Physics from Colgate University.
Josh Levine – Chief Commercial Officer
Josh has over 25 years of experience in energy project development, project finance, economic analysis, and environmental permitting. He was part of the founding team and leads investment execution at GBR and assists in investment management. Prior to his current position at Great Bay Renewables, Josh joined BayCorp Holdings in 2014 after working for the previous six years with BayCorp partner companies, Energy Management Inc. and American Renewables, in the development of large-scale renewable energy projects, including the Gainesville Renewable Energy Center and the Cape Wind Project, as well as natural gas generation and solar facilities. Josh received his B.S. in economics from Connecticut College, his M.B.A. from the Yale University – School of Management, and his M.E.M. in policy, economics, and law from the Yale University – School of Forestry and Environmental Studies.
Zach Farrar – Managing Director
Zach has more than 15 years of experience in the renewable energy industry and leads business development and investment origination for Great Bay. Prior to joining Great Bay, Zach was a Global Director of sales and commercial operations for General Electric’s onshore wind services division. He has extensive leadership and high-tempo operational experience with more than 13 years in the US Navy. Zach has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Control Systems Engineering from the US Naval Academy and a Master of Science Degree in Engineering and Management from Clarkson University.
Bill Rodgers – Director
Bill has over 25 years of experience in the electric utility and merchant energy industries. He was part of the founding team and leads investment management at GBR. Prior to his current position at Great Bay Renewables, he joined BayCorp Holdings in 1999, acting over the years as its Power Trader, Director of Marketing, and Director of Operations, performing a variety of roles in energy and renewable energy credit sales, project development, and project management for BayCorp and its subsidiaries. Previously, Bill worked at Green Mountain Power Corporation in power trading and supply portfolio management. Bill holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Middlebury College.
Ryan Ganong – Director
With more than a decade of experience in energy finance and M&A, Ryan is a senior member of our investment execution team. Before joining Great Bay, Ryan served as Vice President at ArcLight Capital Partners, where he oversaw the underwriting, execution, and management of equity investments in renewable energy, thermal power, and midstream assets. He also has experience as an Investment Analyst at Fidelity Investments, where he focused on the upstream energy sector while on Fidelity’s High Yield Credit team. Ryan holds an MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth and a Bachelor’s Degree in History from Dartmouth College.
Christian Stuewer – Associate
With a strong background underwriting corporate, project finance, and distributed generation tax equity transactions, Christian is a key member of our investment execution team. After graduating from the Boston College Carroll School of Management in May of 2022, Christian joined the Global Renewable Energy Credit (“GREC”) team at Bank of America until joining Great Bay. Christian also holds a B.S. in Finance and Accounting for Finance and Consulting from Boston College.
Shannon Gagne – Controller
Shannon has more than 15 years of experience working as a controller, with the majority of that time spent in the energy sector. Shannon thrives working in a fast-paced environment, and in addition to overseeing general accounting functions, she also enjoys wearing multiple hats in the areas of human resources and general operations. Shannon holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Massachusetts Boston and completed her Master of Science Degree in Accounting and Finance from Southern New Hampshire University.
